There may be a better answer, but just off the top of my head: create a web widget (you will have to look at Google for instructions) and plug it into a widget display. Vista has one, Yahoo has another.

Or, if you have a Mac, just create it with the built in tools.

There's a way to get an RSS feed out of it, which the former project manager had me remove the link to... when I get in tomorrow I'll try to remember to look it up.

You'd have separate feeds for new vs updated, though.
