Hi, sorry for bumping this thread, but I too would like to be able to completely uninstall the curse client. The problem I find is that the Mac client must be leaving hidden files somewhere. As when I uninstall it and remove all the preference files found in "/library" the preferences return when I reinstall curse. So a full list of ALL the hidden folders and files installed by curse and a method of removing them is required, and on a side note, I REALLY REALLY HATE COMPANIES THAT HIDE STUFF ON MY COMPUTER WHEN I INSTALL APPS. PLEASE DONT DO THIS!
I cant comment on the windows version, but with the complaints I've seen on the forum about being unable to uninstall I imagine some kind of screwed up registry abuse is going on, with Mac it should be as simple as drag and drop installation/uninstallation, so why the need for hidden folders? no other app I know of needs to do this, so why curse client? Is it sloppy programming? A poor attempt at porting from PC to Mac? I don't care really, just tell me where all the files are so I can remove them as and when I want. You will probably also find this would reduce alot of the problems with the app, as it's a very basic method of problem solving to remove all previous traces of an app and reinstall it if you have problems, If theres still very important preference files from a past version still lingering around, then they are clearly going to interfere with a new installation.
I ask again, get it sorted. Hopefully curse v4 isn't going to be such a mess. But I don't want to install v4 until I am completely sure I can remove all traces of it if necessary.
