hoi,

since that game has been updated, ICU doesnt work anymore though it was one of the most useful addons.

Is there somewhere an update out or is there something better? something compareable?

All the functions were useful cause of for example getting the focus of mobs that are not in view etc etc

now it's been gone forever at curse, including all patches but it didnt work at all at my wow-account (hunter)

is there no compareable addon? it's EXTREMLY hard clicking a different player in a hord-town (40manraid + 10 horde + mobs). how do you all solve such problems?!

damn I miss personal sentry, if ANYONE knows of a decent substitute please say so

i use paranoia, but it's weak in comparison with no minimap functionality whatsoever - also the player list doesn't anchor very nicely and depending on the names of players it regularly shifts to either be offscreen, in the way or hiding behind my ui

all little updates for it aint really working. I miss it! it was PERFECT for taking focus of something.

This was my favorite addon, and certainly the most missed.  I have been using VanasKOS but it lacks the minimap functionality.  If VanasKOS could add that part I think it would be nearly the same as Personal Sentry.  It's pretty nice mousing over the minimap to have names pop up on a list that you can click on to target if in range.  I loved it on my hunter.  Wish I had it now on my druid 8/.

Take a look aty Spy.

Spy is totally worthless compared to what ICU used to do. Spy just tells you when it detects actions, but ICU was an addon for hunters that let you click on the minimap blip to be able to target something. as long as someone was within tracking distance, there was no way for them to be able to hide from you (aside from invisibility)

I believe that Blizzard took all of the minimap selection functions out of the game and thus gimped ICU. I might be wrong but you will never see this type of functionality again in any addon. All of these type of addon use combat log events now and not tracking.
