8 players from 4 factions battle for dominance on a newly terraformed planet!

  • This is a 4 faction DOTA like map that's capable of 4v4, 1v1v1v1, 2v2v2v2, and other player modes. Third person mode (with WASD) and Default game view modes supported (lock/unlock camera).

Optional questing areas for each faction that award a lot of experience and money early in the game (and eventually unlock world bosses). 9 balanced heroes with RPG style gameplay. 6-7 abilities/passives per hero, with 12 talent upgrades and 194 items. Each level you get to choose 1 stat points (intelligence, agility, strength, crit, lifestealing, haste) which give your hero a significant damage/survivability increase. Heroes at level 10-12 will always do 8x more damage than a level 1. All heroes have a group buff/aura, a heal (or a good reason to not need one) and some form of crowd control like a disarm, stun, pushback, summon decoy, snare, blind, slow

In lock camera mode, hold left click or middle click to rotate camera/turn your hero.

DOTA 4 Kingdoms Map

  • -Infestor hero implemented! The Infestor is a caster that uses damage over time effects to acheive AOE and single target carnage.
  • Curse of the Weakened is an autocast single target ability that deals moderate shock damage and additional damage over time, stacks up to 5 times
  • Fungal Growth deals aoe damage, stacks up to 3 times on any target
  • Lifestealing heals the infestors life/shields for 25% of all damage done
  • Dark Swarm protects all friendly units under a spore cloud from taking any damage for 12 seconds.
  • Leech steals a small amount of vitals from a hostile unit and gives it to the Infestor.
  • Infested Terrans summons an infested terran to fight for you for a short time.
  • Mark of the Vengeful grants all nearby friendly units with a +15% damage buff for 1 minute
  • Burrow instantly hides the Infestor, but the Infestor is reset to 0% shields
  • While burrowed the infestor can use Neural Parasite to take over non-heros temporarily
  • -The Archon has had several ability and talent changes since the Infestor came back and trademarked his abilities.
  • -Frost Nova freezes targets for 2 seconds, dealing light shock damage. Target is slowed and takes damage over time. Does not stack
  • -Meteor is a long range ultimate ability that deals damage in a huge radius
  • -Several single target abilities have been made autocast! (snipe, merciless strike, feedback, and acid spit)
  • -Light infantry mobs (Stalker/marine/infested terran) now get a +120 shield upgrade 21 minutes into the game
  • -Light infantry mobs (Stalker/marine/infested terran) now get a +170 life upgrade 31 minutes into the game
  • -Light infantry mobs no longer stop spawning at wave 30
  • -Heavy (wave) mobs now spawn half as often on 4v4 mode for the outer lanes.

fixes

  • -New Stats menu interface! sorta!
  • -Armory, command center, lair and nexus have all had their footprint data updated (to be larger) and now have proper collision size
  • -When 2 players on the same team die with inventory, it will put each players inventory in a different stack (a short distance away from eachother), so as to avoid confusion of players not knowing what gear is theirs.
  • -Light infantry mobs (Stalker/marine/infested terran) now get a +120 shield upgrade 21 minutes into the game
  • -The Ultralisk hero was not properly benefitting from Improved Shields upgrades.
  • -Several heroes have had their base weapon range increased
  • -Fixed several annoying mobs that were wandering out of their quest zones (though some still exist)
  • -Nuclear Strike and Meteor now deal 400% damage to buildings 200% damage to everything else
  • -Vortex damage and range increased by 25%
  • -Point defense drone has had its cost reduced to 3.
  • -Several trees/mountains were further reduced to improve visibility on unlock camera mode
  • -All heroes start with roughly 40 more energy
  • -Life gained from Strength (based on a % of total life) has been reduced
  • -Life/shields gained from Agility based on a % of total has been increased
  • -Shields gained from Intelligence based on a % of total shields has been increased

    Had fun checking this map out. Would recommend you rename it to something other than DOTA since SC2 isn't WC3 and DOTA is Icefrog's baby. Could say it's DOTA-like.

    Keep the revisions coming. And I'll go get a new graphics card in the meantime so I can fully enjoy it. =D
