About Newb TD

Newb TD is me experimenting and practicing on using the SC2 editor. The map will get various new features as I figure out the editor.

So far:
- Team TD. All players build wherever they want and can compete for kills.
- 1 to 8 players (If a player leaves, the spawns for that player stops)
- Creeps are ground and air. Air defence is very important!
- 8 turret types.
- Most turret types have separate improvements available for every unique turret.
- All turret types will level up, gaining a buff with each level.
- Turrets have varying damage and hit speed, to add a random factor to the game.
- Creeps will level up based on damage taken! Late game creeps will heal up and run away if you are slow.
- Creeps have various abilities which they will use when you hit them. The effect varies, making them a bit unpredictable.
- Secret events giving different players unexpected improvements. He who figures what triggers them will have an advantage.
- Several technologies, improving all turret types in various ways.

I'd say the biggest difference between this and other TDs is how unpredictable the creeps are.
There are also lots of different ways to build up your defence, so you can play the map tons of times and still figure out new ways of building your defence.

V.1.5:
- All difficulties have been reduced, by 10% - 20%
- First level is now a warmup level. You get bounty for kills but you dont lose any lives. Newbs watch and learn, the rest get extra gold to secure the defences.
- Fixed some difficulty variables not working properly.
- Added supply cost on turrets, and 30 supply from tower builder. No more turret spamming.
- Ricochet damage halved for all jump targets. Initial hit damage unchanged.
- Reworked AA -turrets and -technologies.
- Removed the flyers' ability to attack.
- Slightly reduced cost of some turrets.
- Probably some things I've forgotten.

V.1.4:
- Building time increaed to 3 sec for all turrets.
- Sniper turret no longer hits air, which they were not supposed to.
- Added 2 new turret types.
- Added research building with several new technologies.
- Fixed Fire Turrets' shield bonus damage, which was too high.

V.1.2:
- More creep abilities
- More special discoveries
- 2 turrets are only available from wave 11
- Increased mob leveling speed
- Reduced air damage for non-AA turrets
- Added wave requirements to turret upgrades
- Ricochet missiles no longer bounce to air creeps

V.1.1:
- Added more creep abilities.
- Added some hidden improvements that you will get for meeting certain criterias.
- Added 1 more turret.
- Changed map layout.
- Added air levels.
- Modified difficulty.
- Probably some things I've forgotten.
