About Mariculture

What is Mariculture?

Mariculture's main focus is the Aquatic Environment. It adds terrain generation to the oceans, with things like coral and kelp, to improve the visuals of the underwater world. The mod also expands upon the vanilla fishing system, adding various types of rods and loot you can catch with them, while requiring you to use bait in order to operate these new fishing rods. As well as this, Mariculture introduces fish breeding, which can be a handy way to get your hand on various resources, slowly but surely. There is also jewelry that you can enchant made from pearls, as well as various new objects, that will help with exploring under and above water. Mariculture also adds various machines, that use or create Redstone Flux, with a focus on water related things to power them, or function.

As of latest versions, Mariculture requires Enchiridion: Link

Hey, I'm wondering if you are aware of an incompatibility between Mariculture and ForgeEssentials? I love Mariculture, but something is broken between the two mods and sadly ForgeEssentials is very much necessary to my having a server as players won't stay when there are no protections and ForgeEssentials is really the only option until plugins are available again.

Is this mod compatible with Oceancraft?

Can you please update to the 1.8.1 and add Optifine compatibility? I found out today that the game crashes when using Optifine in combination with this mod.

Mariculture 1.7.10 1.2.3c is *not* compatible with Minecraft 1.7.10, and nor is ver. 1.2.3b. It did not crash, per se, it just told me that "Eridian requires Forge Mod Loader minimum of 1.1" and killed everyother mod I had. I don't have anything that remotely resembles Eridian; and it only happens upon installation of Mariculture; tested without it (drug it out of the mods folder) and my Minecraft works fine and all mods loaded correctly.

This mod looks utterly beautiful, and given that it was designed to work along side with Biomes o' Plenty, I thought it would make an excellent addition; maybe it will once it actually works.

Mariculture IS compatible with MC 1.7.10, but as the description states, it requires Enchridion Mod to be present.  Enchridion, not Enchridion 2.  A link is provided.
