About Dovahkiin Hideout
DESCRIPTION:
This adds a very large basement connecting all houses in the game. You can enter the Hideout from any house in the game by opening the hatch found on in your house.

I can't say enough about this mod. I ADORE it! I've just spent many, MANY hours just setting up my trophy-room.
I am a pack-rat and this provides me with all the space I need. I can't wait to fill every book shelf. X-p I've already filled the ones available. I can always use more weapon and sheild racks only because when I get a "kill" I really feel good about, I usually take a weapon or a peice of armor as a trophy.
There are some very smart little things that I didn't realize I needed until I had them. The mannequin in the enchanting/alchemy room is BRILLIANT. I don't need to carry all of that crafting buff items/potions. The mini mannequins by the forge just make me so happy for the same reason. I transmute a lot but otherwise don't use the alteration school at all so why would I carry those items around with me?
Anyway I fail at being succinct. Suffice it to say, this is a brilliant mod and I highly reccomend it to anyone in need of space.
The only request I would make would be to made display cases "friendly" to any kind of item. I'd love to put my dragon claws/Dwemer forks/witch heads/etc. in them.
Hey, great mod. Love it. But i was exploring the hideout when i found the libary. In it i found a book called my story, an i got an idea. Well more a question. How do you write books and notes in skyrim? I want to make a jurnal i can write in. In game would be best but writing in an .txt would be just as fine.

If you have some experience in TESnip you can open up Basement.esm and see under the group books.
From there you can see how the books work.

best add-on so far, great work! maybe once you fix the follower situation, do you think it could be fixed so spouses will live down there? i think i'm just gonna basically ignore my other homes now and just use them for the fancy teleport
Really liking the hideout, Shawkab! I've been waiting for something just like this.
I'm only having two (related) problems. I can't get into Proudspire from the Hideout, even though I have the Proudspire key. And second, I looked all over the crafting table in the smithing area and I can't find the spare keys. (I ended up coming in through the Breezehome trapdoor. I never did encounter the quest that would've led me to the proper key).
Suggestions?

Hey mate, this is a fantastic mod, but I was wondering if it would be possible to have a few more mannequins... I collect outfits (sad I know XD) and hate shoving them in a wardrobe to be forgotten.
Mannequins are a fantastic addition but there's never enough for all the sets I have :-( Anything you could do in this area (or explain how I can put some extra mannequins around myself) would be GREATLY appreciated :-D

Nice job on this, Shawkab! My new digs are awesome and spacious and practical. Honestly I don't mind that my companion doesn't follow me into my hideout. Sometimes I just want to get away without her watching me. The treasures that you discreetly placed were a joy to find. Thank you!
I was one that really didn't see a need for even the breezehome, since I had a room at the college and then the archmage's quarters. Once I got the home, I was so excited to have a place to put stuff I didn't want to carry or lose--but it was missing an enchanting table. Luckily this new hideout has everything. Woot! I was crafting like crazy and then could put armor on the sweet mannequins. Clever idea to put all the doors to the other homes in the entryway. Now I might just have to work on getting those places, too.
There are several bookshelves, too, but they don't activate--then again, they are not listed in your description. Any chance useable bookshelves are in the works? The place is great.
Working on usable bookshelves for 0.3. 0.2 will be uploaded here soon as I get back from some errands.
Love the Hideout very spacious just a couple of small items that I noticed while messing around.
First - On the weapon racks I noticed that over time some weapons will climb up the wall after being placed on the weapon rack. This happened on the weapon rack in the main room outside the blacksmithing area on the rack that is located to the left and behind as you entered the room. Weapon was one handed sword I believe it was slots 2 and 4 of the rack
Second - The weapons rack on the far wall in the room with all of the Mannequins next to the blacksmithing room the second weapons slot from the left as you are looking at the rack is unselectable. The sword and shield plaque when you put a daedric sword on it one of the swords is upsidedown.
Third - The weapons rack in the far corner on the left wall in the big room with the Mannequins next to the black smith room when you put a daedric axe in the last slot the axe is hanging upside down.
Forth - i have noticed this on several of the weapons racks that staves are upside down.
Fifth - in the library when you take the right path through all of the bookshelf and are heading to the dead end if you look up towards where the roof and wall meet in a couple of sections you can see what looks like sky
Thats all I have noticed so far. but otherwise great Hideout keep up the great work.
