Instead of downloading this mod or editing any file names, which may get updated later by Steam, you can just edit the Skyrim.ini in your "Saved Games" or "My Games" directory. Add "SIntroSequence=" under the General section to the ini and you'll never have to worry about the intro again. i.e.
[General]
SIntroSequence=
Always backup your ini before editing it. The above change is quite insignificant but it's a good practice anyway.

thanks for the tip!
Yup just renaming the .bik to .bak worked for me.... no need for a new file.
Thanks mate, saves me a little time...although skyrim doesnt spend much time closed.
You need only two tools in life: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use duct tape.
#1 Mod out there atm imo.
Thanks:) It does indeed get a tad annoying since it can have a tendency to crash now and again.
Awesome! Excluding the two nude mods, the first 5 mods are so convienent.
Thanks for this. Gets annoying after the game randomly closes.
Fantastic! :) Thank you! Using this for sure.
cool , but just rename the extention of the original file from .bik to .bak it skips whitout this mod. i hope it helps
