Fed up with wasting 6 minutes of bla-bla-bla when want to start from scratch?
Here is solution: savegame right before appearance selection.
How to install:
Unzip downloaded file to %UserDocuments%\My Games\Skyrim\Saves\

There's actually no need for this. Play through the intro fully one time. Once you get into actual gameplay, check your saved games. The game automatically makes a saved game file just before the character creation. It'll do this any time you select New Game, in case you deleted the original.
So simple yet I had never thought to do this. Thank you kindly mate.
Oh my god it worked and now my game has been running for about 5 mins without crash
I dont even care if its a mod, skyrim crashes to desktop halfway through the intro, so i'm going to try this and see if it works.

I personally love this person for uploading it, just saved me 6mins of wasting my life for the 3rd time. The intro is quite crap and slow, especially repeatedly, yes I could of done this myself had I of realised sooner (I didn't) I assumed there would be an easy option in config to turn it off so I searched and found this. This will do me!

A useful mod would have been one that skips the part past character creation.

Maybe my computer is actually alive, or I could have swore Skyrim did this on its own already.
Even my PS3 actually.
