The Secret World may be taking up a lot of our attention lately, but that doesn't mean its the only epic MMO that Funcom is working on right now.
After the recent transition to free to play, Age of Conan: Unchained has been thriving. Now, with the success of the most recent film offering, Conan the Barbarian, Funcom has unleashed a brand new adventure pack that ties into the movie's characters and monsters; The Savage Coast of Turan..
“Not only have we created this fantastic world for players to explore, but we have combined it with known storylines from Robert E. Howard as well as connecting it to the recent release of the film Conan the Barbarian,” says Game Director Craig Morrison. “’The Savage Coast of Turan’ will offer great challenges to players, but with great challenges comes great rewards. This adventure pack continues our tradition of continually improving the game and adding new content, and ‘The Savage Coast of Turan’ does a great job showcasing that ‘Age of Conan’is still one of the most visually stunning MMO’s out there.”
In ‘The Savage Coast of Turan’, players are sent to the coastal city of Ardashir to unravel murderous plots and explore the surrounding areas and islands. As with most stories in the ‘Age of Conan’ universe, things are not always what they seem and players will face great dangers from enemies new and old. In addition to the adventure pack, the in-game store now offers several new packs, including the Jewel of Turan. Here players will find exclusive items such as the Camel mount and the fighting pet Sand Demon from the movie.
