Less than a week after announcing that Aion's next major content update is headed to the North American and European public test servers, NCsoft released a complete revamp of the offical Aion website.
As you can see from the image above, the landing page for the new website is quite a bit different than the old. There's also a very large rotating image box at the top of the site to quickly find all of the hottest information on the game and new features available.
Likewise, news has had a few touchups and now allows you to easily share content from the website on all of the popular social media, including Facebook, Twitter and Reddit.
The top navigation has been redone and is actually very nice now, as seen in the image below. It's a very quick dropdown menu for each option, with additional information breaking out to the right. About Aion includes a screencap of the retail box of the game, the Game Guide includes quick links to featured articles, and the Media link -- when moused over -- shows three of the latest screenshots added.
The Forums link displays the latest discussions, and Services will give you quick access to account services like character transfers and companion pet adoption. Overall it's a very slick new design and looks great.
