NCSoft was on hand this week in Cologne, Germany at Gamescom - the biggest gaming convention in Europe - and shared some details on the upcoming 3.5 patch for Aion and even teased some pretty exciting news for the 4.0 update, as well.
NCSoft brought a few games with them in playable demo, one of which was Aion itself. But the real exciting news, comes in the tease that NCSoft dropped regarding the 4.0 update. As it turns out, Aion's 4.0 content update will actually introduce 3 brand new player classes! NCSoft is keeping mum on what those classes will actually be, but we can't wait to get more information as development progresses!
What we do know, however, is that one class will wield a musical instrument as their weapon while another will use a gun. The third and final class is being kept entirely under wraps for now, but expect that to change in the future. Unfortunately, NCSoft didn't have a timeframe on this update but we're happy to wait and speculate.
