THQ today released a brand new trailer for Homefront, the upcoming fictional war game where players experience life in the United States under Korean rule. Set in the year 2027, players find themselves entrenched in a world unraveling after 15 years of economic meltdown and global conflict over the world's dwindling resources.
After a devastating EMP strike, the United States is hopelessly crippled and powerless to stop the Greater Korean Republic as it continues to occupy more and more of the country, backed by a nuclear arsenal. It all boils down to you, as a member of the resistance, to fight back and retake the homefront.
Written by John Milius -- acclaimed writer of Red Dawn and Apocalypse Now -- Homefront is sure to offer a gripping story that will spark emotional reactions rarely seen in a video game. Set for a March 2011 release, Homefront is available for pre-order now for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
