Astral Storm is here! This latest content update for Allods Online is going live today across all servers, bringing a range of adjustments, improvements, and major content additions such as:
- New Mentoring system
- Benefit from the guidance and knowledge of a seasoned player
- Mentor must be of the same faction and archetype
- Characters over level 30 can form a bond with any newly created, non-reincarnated character over level 6
- Managed through the game's UI, using a special window to manage requests and make matches
- Mentors can receive gold, anniversary coins, and marks of diligence
- Mentoring relationship ends when apprentice reaches the same level as their mentor
- New sector of Astral Space to be dedicated to free-for-all treasure hunting
- Pure free-for-all with no protection for faction alliances
- Travel to sectors via Astral vessels
- Randomly spawning treasure
- As more ships enter, the chance of treasure spawning becomes more likely
- This increase in riches comes at a cost – the chance of a demon appearing also increases with more ships
- Time for each ship in the treasure hunting sector is limited
- Astral Caravan
- Daily missions for Astral vessel owners
- Players are given a set of goods to deliver to locations along trade routes in Astral Space, and receive commissions for delivering them
- Other ships can attack the players and steal the goods - the victor gets the spoils AND the commission
- Questing Interface receives an overhaul, bringing an integrated map and quest log
- Automove feature leads the player's characters to the next quest location

To celebrate, a special lauch event is taking off as well - players will be able to meet the leaders of their factions, and perform deeds and tasks for them to earn hats, costumes, fireworks, and postcards!
