A new project in the Assassin's Creed franchise seems to have surfaced, at least in name. Fusible discovered that Ubisoft this Tuesday registered a dozen new domains, all to do with something titled Assassin's Creed: Initiate. Here's a list of the new registrations:
There hasn't been any sort of official announcement from Ubisoft yet concerning this move, but speculation is afoot as everyone wonders what type of product Initiate could be.
With Liberation and AC III on the horizon, perhaps it's something besides a new title - Ubisoft's own informational or database site for the franchise, or maybe some kind of multiplayer enhancement platform like Call of Duty's Elite service.
Either way, you can bet that we're keeping our eyes peeled for more Initiate information.
