We're almost in the home stretch towards the release of Assassin's Creed III October 31st, and each new video from the team is just hyping us up further for the game! In the Official Boston Tea Party Trailer, players will get a deeper understanding of the event that started the revolution and the birth of a nation.
The year was 1773. The American colonies were under British rule and growing restless of the empire's enforced laws and taxes. In an act of solidarity, the American colonists took a final stand and in one of the most famous moments in history, destroyed British imports, boycotting their taxes and halting their tyrannical momentum.
The next entry in the popular Assassin's Creed franchise takes the game up a few hundred years to the American Revolutionary War. The protagonist is a half-English, half-Native American by the name of Ratohnhaké:ton, Connor for short. Connor's relationship with George Washington will prove important to the story, and he will also encounter notable names from the era including Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Charles Lee, Israel Putnam, and more over 30 years of his life.
