the publishing rights for Atlantica Online. Migrating an already-existing game is never an easy task, but Nexon has proven time and again to be a capable game publisher. Little did we know just how serious Nexon was about getting Atlantica Online back into the minds of gamers.

A mere two weeks after the migration completed, Nexon has already revealed details of the first major content update for the game. While the game was previously run by Ndoors, a wholly owned development studio of Nexon, now all management of Atlantica Online is run through Nexon itself.

In addition, players will find themselves entrenched in a deep story taking place across new quests and dungeons, allowing them to fight alongside iconic Chinese warlords, leaders and soldiers, such as Cao Cao and Liu Bei.
The quests will primarily focus on the Battle of Red Cliffs, a historic moment in the Three Kingdoms era. The battle ushered the end of the Han Dynasty, emulating the classic theme of the “weak beating the strong,” laying the foundation of the Three Kingdoms to follow: Wu, Wei and Shu.
