NCsoft was at PAX East 2011 in full force, and we had a chance to sit in on a brief presentation for City of Heroes. The game has an update coming very soon -- Incarnates -- and the Paragon Studios team was on hand to tell us about it.
Incarnates will do what players have been asking for since the game's release: it's uniting the servers, enabling North American and European players access to any server, no matter what region they play in.
In addition, new task forces are being introduced for level 20-40 players, for both Heroes and Villains. The task forces are quite different from each other, with Admiral Sutter offering one for heroes and Mortimer Kal for villains.
And of course the typical game update content is there as well: new incarnate abilities, judgement, lore, destiny and interface improvements. Check out the teaser below to see a bit of what's coming with Update 20: Incarnates.
