Bungie, acclaimed developer of the Halo series, finally revealed their much talked-about gameplay demo for Destiny this week at E3 to applause and acclaim. Though the demo slowed at times, the graphical capabilities of the PlayStation 4 were as much lauded as the game itself, and for good reason - the game looked stunning in glorious HD, and the seamless handling of multiplayer, high-polygon count models and extreme allocation of screen real-estate made the crowd stare on in awe well after the demo was finished.
Billed as the "next evolution in first-person shooters", Destiny has been kept under wraps by Bungie for some time, but as we get closer to release, more information has either been leaked or officially revealed. Earlier this month, details about the plot were leaked, describing an epic story of adventure from Mars to Venus in an effort to protect the last city on Earth from invasion.
Bungie has stated the game will be the first in a new series of games for the PlayStation 4 platform, and expects the titles to span across multiplatform releases well into the next decade. As more information is released, Curse will continuously update the growing Destiny Wiki community with new information, screenshots, and data.
