Bethesda Softworks this morning revealed the voice cast for their upcoming first-person stealth game,Dishonored. The voice cast is pretty impressive, with some well-known actors and actresses putting their talents into the game:
- Susan Sarandon
- Brad Dourif
- Carrie Fisher
- John Slattery
- Michael Madsen
- Chloë Grace Moretz
- Lena Headey
“Having such talented actors voice Dishonored's compelling cast of characters adds a rich, powerful element to the game,” said Raphaël Colantonio, President of Arkane Studios. “We want to draw people into this virtual world and make it feel real. This celebrated cast adds wonderful depth and credibility to the overall Dishonored gameplay experience."
Daniel Licht will be serving as composer for the game and is best known, perhaps, for his work on popular TV series Dexter. Licht is no stranger to video game composing, however, having scored Silent Hill: Downpour and Silent Hill: Book of Memories.
Set in an immersive steampunk world with an arsenal of gadgets at your disposal, you can choose whether to stealthily achieve your objectives, or just come at them head-on. Here's a little backstory:
Dishonored is set in Dunwall, an industrial whaling city where strange steampunk- inspired technology and otherworldly mysticism coexist in the shadows. You are the once-trusted bodyguard of the beloved Empress. Framed for her murder, you become an infamous assassin, known only by the disturbing mask that has become your calling card.
