If you haven't pre-ordered Dragon Age II yet, now you have all the more reason to. BioWare today revealed the first DLC pack for the game, called The Exiled Prince. Surprisingly, this three-mission pack will be available on the same day Dragon Age II releases: March 8, 2011. In it you play alongside the archer Sebastian Vael in his quest to avenge the brutal murder of his family. You'll have the choice of either avenging his family's murder to reclaim his title or direct his vengeance on their enemies in Kirkwall.
The pack's going to cost you $7 USD or 560 Microsoft points, but anyone who pre-orders by January 11 will get the DLC for free, in addition to the free upgrade to the signature edition.
“Our goal for the Dragon Age II DLC is to extend Hawke’s journey and the Dragon Age universe by introducing additional characters with meaningful storylines and intense, dynamic missions,” said Mark Darrah, Executive Producer of Dragon Age II. “Not only will ’The Exiled Prince’ allow players to experience Sebastian’s powerful revenge story, but they will also be able to utilize him as a follower throughout Hawke’s rise to power in Dragon Age II.”
If you're one who likes to grab DLC when it goes on sale, it's probably worth it to pre-order Dragon Age II now since the Signature Edition of the game comes with a few cool extras by itself.
