NCSoft officially announced the release of Dungeon Runners today, with a press release on the main PlayNC website.
Dungeon Runners is a new direction for NCSoft; the first free-to-download and play game in their collection of offerings. That's not to say it follows the trend of most free-to-play games; NCSoft has assured gamers that the game was developed with the same quality as any other title they've released.
There will also be a membership subscription plan, though, which promises access to all of the best armor and items in the game. At a price tag of $4.99 US, it may be worthwhile to take over the free version of the game.

I played the beta few months ago and unless there were big changes it's not just "the best armor and items in the game" but anything useful. Playing for free is almost like using grey or white items in WoW when other guys have epics. Not to mention things like potions that don't stack unless you are subscriber (filling the whole inventory already at the lowest levels).
And the 4,99... that's for one character only. Want to make an alt or just try other class? Pay another subscription!
