CCP, the studio behind the award-winning EVE Online has announced an exciting integration with NVIDIA, who are hands-down one of the world leaders in graphics cards. The partnership means nothing but good things for EVE Online players.
CCP's proprietary physics engine, Carbon, has been enhanced with NVIDIA technologies, specifically; PhysX, APEX Clothing and 3D Vision.
The new technology will first be available for EVE players in the upcoming expansion, Incarna. NVIDIA is already on board with EVE's revolutionary character creator and with the enormous success of the creator, it makes sense that CCP and NVIDIA would want to further integrate and share technologies.
Says CCP:
