CCP has released some official details on this year's annual EVE Online Fanfest, once again taking place in Reykjavik, Iceland.
The event is a place where EVE Online players from around the globe gather to celebrate their beloved game with a ton of fun events and even a chance to win a VIP tour of CCP's headquarters. This year looks to be a pretty amazing Fanfest, with events like:
- No limit poker tournament - prizes include some epic in-game offerings including a chance to have your name forever inscribed in the ship info for the Ishukone Scorpion skin.
- Silent auction - items up for bidding in the past have included hand painted ship models and EVE artwork. CCP has promised some pretty exciting items to bid on this year.
- Battle of the bands - players can get together and compete in a Rock Band battle of the bands, to see who takes home the honor of best in show.
- VIP party - this event is exclusive to the top three poker tournament players, the winner of the battle of the bands and select other EVE Online VIPs and includes VIP treatment all night.
