Have you gotten your copy yet? This is the first time Fallout will be playable in 3D, and from what I saw during the summer convention spree, the game is shaping up to be one of the better titles released this year. It's been 10 years since Fallout 2 was released by Interplay, so it's been a long time coming since fans of the series had a chance to continue experiencing the post-apocalyptic Earth setting they've come to love. This time around Fallout is displayed in beautiful 3D via the Gamebryo engine -- the same that powers The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion -- and promises unlimited character customization. Big words, for sure!
I personally just got my copy from Steam, but you can find it in stores or online for PC, XBOX 360, and PlayStation 3. There's even a collector's edition available with an artwork book, Vault Boy Bobblehead, a behind-the-scenes DVD, and it all comes packaged in a custom metal lunchbox.
Expect some screenshots and early impressions on the game later today!
