Red 5 Studios is out in full force at PAX Prime with their upcoming online FPS Firefall! First off, they're debuting the Founders Packages detailed in the above video, giving early adopters a chance to show their support for Firefall. These limited editions of Firefall come in multiple tiers, all offering different rewards for purchasing. A special 25% off sale is in effect all of PAX weekend!
The Firefall Mobile Gaming Unit is also present, which features '20 AMD powered gaming stations, Razer peripherals, support for 1,000 person LAN parties and livestreaming capabilities with full shoutcaster support.' This is located outside the convention center in Seattle, for folks wanting to get some hands-on time with Firefall.
The team is hoping to show off a bit of what they're putting together with the in-game store in Firefall, as well. The recently launched store gives players a chance to buy unique and fun items by converting real-life currency to in-game currency.
With both an open-world cooperative campaign and competitive multiplayer components, the game is sure to make a splash - especially since it's also free-to-play. If you're interested in checking out Firefall at PAX Prime make sure you drop by the Mobile Gaming Unit outside the convention center.
