Walking the Walk
It's no big secret that ArenaNet has been "talking the talk" with the promise that Guild Wars 2 will break out of the MMO mold, but now they plan on "walking the walk" very soon at the Gamescom (Aug. 18-22nd) and PAX (Sept. 3-5th) events.
Today, along with posting an amazing new Manifesto video, ArenaNet blogged about what to expect to see at the upcoming conferences. Some of the features include players being able to:
- Play a human at level 1
- Get a first look at the branching personal storyline
- Experience Divinity's Reach, the last great human city
- Play a charr at level 47
- Man cannons against an army of corrupted dragon minions at Steeleye Span, a charr stronghold
- Witness The Shatterer, a special ranked dragon that terrorizes the area
