As you may know, the first public Beta Weekend Event for Guild Wars 2 is now underway! If you've pre-purchased the game, you should now be able to log in and play. If you haven't, you can still pre-purchase the game, but apparently not at the official website: Currently, potential buyers are being turned away as both the Standard Digital and Digital Deluxe editions are marked as SOLD OUT, citing the message:
Sorry! Guild Wars 2 is currently sold out.
To ensure the highest quality service we have temporarily limited the number of copies of Guild Wars 2. As more capacity becomes available, we will make Guild Wars 2 available for sale again.
In the meantime, we encourage you to visit our retail partners , who may still have copies available.

Hows a Digital Purchase sell out ._.
They didn't "sell out" in the traditional sense of the term. Rather, they wanted to avoid lots of people buying just before beta weekend and therefore overwhelming the beta servers. Once Beta weekend ended, they started selling again.
