As Bungie Studios moves away from its iconic Halo franchise, 343 Industries is taking up the mantle of continuing a legendary franchise in a new direction, while staying true to the fundamentals that made the series so beloved by its legions of fans around the world.
One of the most beloved aspects of the franchise has always been the scores, traditionally written by Martin O'Donnell who has moved forward with Bungie on their new project. Taking the reins in his stead is English composer Neil Davidge, who has been making music on his own and for films for over 20 years. The soundtrack for Halo 4 was composed by Mr. Davidge and recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in his native England. To get you excited for Davidge's soundtrack, Microsoft has released the above video that blends two of the tracks from Halo 4's score together with some beautiful images from the Halo franchise.
