As mentioned in the recent Heroes of Newerth developer blog update, the Heroes of Newerth newsletter went out today. In it is a reveal of the next hero coming to the game, presumably later this week on Friday, January 21.
The Empath — according to the newsletter blurb and her concept art — will be joining the forces of the Legion. She’s an intelligence support hero that attacks from range. But that’s all we know about her for the time being. Well that and she’s nearly naked. I guess her way of lending support is by loaning her armor to her allies?
Rejoice HoN fans! Your calls for a support hero have been heard! Empath, the first hero of the new year, can feel your anticipation and will be joining the Legion’s fight against the Hellbourne very soon.
The newsletter also gives a sneak peek of “Crustacean Kraken,” a new Kraken alternate avatar coming to the Goblin Store on January 21. Sadly the sneak peek image is rather small. What you see to the right is the full size.
