In the works for quite a while now, Turbine today released the third update to Lord of the Rings Online since the game went free-to-play last year. The update, Lost Legends of Eriador, introduces two new 3-player instances and two new skirmishes. There are also a host of new items available in the LOTRO store, the game's microtransaction shop.
To go along with the update Turbine has released a batch of screenshots showing off the new Halls of Night instance, intended for 3-player groups levels 40 to 65. VIP players of Lord of the Rings Online will enjoy free access to the new skirmishes, as well as free 'early access' to the new instances.
