Magicka, from Paradox Interactive and Arrowhead Studies, has been a wild success since its launch. The game falls under a sort of 'magical multiplayer massacre' genre, in which you can cooperate with your friends to overcome levels, bosses, and obstacles... or encumber them as much as you like, since friendly fire is an integral part of the game's mechanics.
Announced today, The Stars are Left is a new multi-level adventure which will pit up to four players against a Cthulhu Mythos-inspired mystery. In an interesting and generous move by the game's makers, if The Stars are Left is owned by a host player in a co-op group, every one of their party members will be able to access the content of the expansion as well without purchasing it.
