Late last year, Mojang submitted a petition to LEGO Cuusoo, the division of LEGO that is responsible for handling community requests for custom LEGO sets. The team at Minecraft submitted a petition, suggesting that Minecraft would make a wonderful theme for a custom LEGO set.
The team at Cuusoo has responded and official Minecraft LEGO sets are on their way! Cuusoo said that over 10,000 users were interested in a potential Minecraft LEGO set and that was enough to merit LEGO to manufactur such an item for us.
The LEGO sets should be coming soon, but be sure to stay tuned to Curse.com and the official Minecraft Forums for more information as we receive it.
