So all good things must come to an end and last week, for many Myst Uru Live fans this rang true. Turner Broadcasting, the developer of Gametap, decided to discontinue support for the game after months of "low population" in the servers. People were absolutely furious in game and on the forums. Most were expecting an announcement to Season 2 (the game was split up into episodic content releases, each time telling another piece of the story) but then the sad news post came that the game was being abandoned.
Several rumors floated around that Cyan, would take the game back up and run it Indy, but this has yet to happen, nor be confirmed. In retrospect I will miss everyone, on the game that I met during my journeys and I hope that someday we find the doors to the Cavern opened once more!

They'd have had more users if they actually advertised it more. I only found out by accident that they'd reopened it the other month, just in time to find out it was closing.
Such a shame - it's a brilliant game.
