Cryptic Studios has released a brand new teaser trailer for their upcoming project and next installment in the Neverwinter franchise. Previously, the game was planned as a cooperative RPG but since being acquired by Perfect World Entertainment, the team has been able to convert the game to a full-scale MMO.
Neverwinter is currently in-development but PAX East attendees can get their first look at a playable build of the game which Cryptic and Perfect World have brought with them to the show floor. Along with the playable build at PAX, Cryptic Studios and PCGamer.com have delivered a brand new CGI teaser trailer for the game, which you can enjoy above. Neverwinter is set to launch as a free to play title, powered by optional microtransactions. Players will be able to purchase things like pets, cosmetic items and more using real-life currency.
Last, but certainly not least, we have a nice batch of screenshots from the game. Enjoy those in the gallery below and drop by http://www.playneverwinter.com/ for more information on this upcoming game!
