Organizing your raid party isn't always as easy as it sounds. Between managing boss kills, loot distribution and Dragon Kill Points (DKP) - sometimes raiding can be a hassle. The Curse Raid Tracker (CRT) was designed to eliminate that headache and make raiding easy and enjoyable.
The Raid Tracker has been totally redesigned with a brand new, dungeon journal-style user interface and some features that we think players are really going to be excited about. Here's a look at what the Curse Raid Tracker offers.
Loot Manager
The fully updated Loot Manager makes distributing your spoils of war effortless. Raid leaders or guild officers who are running the Raid Tracker will be able to manage the loot that has been dropped.
- Ignore disenchanted items or items that no raid member is interested in and keep a history of items that have been ignored by the raid party.
- Start a streamlined auction at the push of a button. Raid members are able to choose how much currency they would like to spend in their bid. A steady message system allows players to keep track of the auction while they continue travelling on to the next boss or destination.
- Supports the most widely used raid systems including Loot Council, Effort Points/Guild Points (EPGP) and the traditional Dragon Kill Points (DKP) system.
The Loot Manager offers the fine tuning of DKP settings, allowing you the most control possible over your auctions.
In regards to auctions, one thing that is important to note is the way bidding works. Not every member of your group will need to be running the Raid Tracker; in fact, only the raid leader or guild officer will have to have it running. When the leader starts an auction, players are able to bid on that item via a traidional Whisper system, built right into the game itself.
Players can easily bid on items and view the auction's progress in the message feed. Regular messages will notify players when a new bid has been made and when the auction has ended, along with which player won the item up for auction.
Multiple Raid Groups, Boss Encounters
Utilizing our Pool-Raid system, the Raid Tracker allows players to easilyi manage multiple raid groups. Whether you have just one primary character in one guild or whether you're an altaholic with multiple raid parties, the Curse Raid Tracker will be able to support your play style.
The image above shows that this player has three main raid groups that he regularly plays with. From this screen, the player is able to view the date that he created that pool as well as how many raids they've run and how many players are in the party. Clicking 'View Details' will bring up a new display, showing the players in that group and their relevant raid stats.
Additionally, the Raid Tracker has been built to gracefully support multi-boss encounters. Players can set up their raids to span over multiple boss fights without having to pause and readjust the Raid Tracker or make any changes. Simply manage the dropped loot via the Loot Manager and continue to your next destination. The Raid Tracker does all of the legwork and book keeping for you, allowing players the chance to sit back and enjoy the raid itself.
Notifications
Running the Raid Tracker is as simple as possible, whether it's the Loot Manager simplifying loot distribution or our 'Toasts' Notification System; managing your raid with the tracker is simple.
As you can see in the image above, the 'toasts' pop up on-screen to offer simple, convenient reminders, helping you run the Raid Tracker easily. Reminders can range from notifying you of loot to be distributed (see image) or to end the raid in the Curse Raid Tracker.
The notifications are unobtrusive and offer one-click access to things like distributing your loot. This notification system is a part of our commitment to making the raid tracker as simple to use as possible, letting raid leaders spend their time on the raid rather than the book keeping.
WoWStead Integration
The Curse Raid Tracker is completely integrated into WoWStead. For those of you unfamiliar, WoWStead offers the most integrated, full-featured World of Warcraft guild hosting on the Internet. WoWStead allows you to create custom guild pages and offers tools to designate rank permissions on the guild page, advertise and recruit new members to your guild and plan events.
