With RIFT pre-orders now available, fans have been brimming with excitement over guaranteed access to the remaining beta events, starting with the Warfronts event this weekend. However, it looks like there are currently issues receiving pre-order codes from Amazon and GameStop orders. Unfortunately it doesn't look like they will arrive in time for Warfronts.
"As many of you have reported, there have been some issues with code distribution from Amazon and GameStop," says Cindy Bowens, RIFT's Sr. Community Manager, "We are working to get that fixed and you will get your codes in time for the head start and all of the benefits of your pre-order."
But good news for those who have already purchased from Amazon or GameStop. "We are not going to let that happen. We want to make sure that you don't miss this event," Bowens said.
If you've already pre-ordered, you'll want to contact Trion's Customer Service department through their Support Center and send them a copy of your purchase receipt. They'll then flag your account with VIP access, allowing you to play this weekend during Warfronts.
For those of you that haven't pre-ordered yet, it might be best to just buy it from Trion, assuming you're not concerned with any of the boxed Collector's Edition goodies.
