If you've been following RIFT news, you no doubt saw about two weeks ago that Trion Worlds released an authenticator for Android devices. This application allows players to add a new layer of security to their game account to help prevent unauthorized access and account theft.
At the same time, you were probably wondering why it was only for Android. Well, today we have the answer as the RIFT authenticator is now available on iOS devices like the iPhone and iPod Touch.
The delay was due to Apple's approval process; it's a bit more lengthy than the Android Market, as Apple receives about 15,000 app submissions every single day. But the wait is over, and you can get it now from iTunes.
