For the past week or so, Steam has been carrying out their Summer Camp daily sales. Each day a host of games go on sale for very, very low prices. More than one time this past week, we've had to double take at some of the amazing deals they are offering. For today only, Steam has put Rift up for sale for only $9.99! That is a full 75% off of the normal price of $39.99.
When purchasing Rift on Steam, new accounts are given a free month of subscription before they need to start paying the monthly subscription fees.
What's more is that the Curse Client was updated earlier this week to support addons for Rift! The Client supports addons for Rift with no extra work on your part, the latest version of the Client has Rift support built in but if you haven't logged in for a while, simply fire the Client up and you will be prompted to update when you log in.
