Runes of Magic Now Available via Browser

Runes of Magic fans can now get their fix without downloading the client, as a new streaming technology has been implemented to allow gamers to play RoM on any PC that meets the technical requirements, all via browser.  For now, this version is only available in Europe, but we hope to see it in other areas soon!

Downloading the browser version is fast and only requires the transmission of a small data package before players can get stuck in. It generally takes around 30 seconds before they reach the main menu and can move onto character creation.

The browser version runs on the same servers as the client version, so players can still get together in familiar surroundings. The platforms currently supported include Windows 7, Vista and XP with Service Pack 2 installed. Supported browsers include the most up-to-date versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome.

Developed by Runewalker Entertainment and published by Frogster Interactive, Runes of Magic is a free-to-play MMORPG in which players pick classes to swap between as they explore Taborea.  Features include PvP, questing, a chapter-driven storyline, guild housing, instanced and persistent dungeons, and more.
