Joymax, an independent developer and publisher of interactive entertainment, today announced that the Silkroad Online Summer Festival will begin today. By participating in one of three events, players will be able to win powerful items and earn bonus experience points as they defeat specially spawned monsters and compete in capture the flag matches. A lucky few will even receive one of the legendary star, moon, or sun seals, so there’s sure to be some stiff competition.
EVENTS
Capture the Flag - The main event, Capture the Flag, will have players competing in teams of two to four, battling spawned monsters in search of a special key. The first team to find the key, grab their flag, and attach it to their flagpole will be declared the winner!
Letter Hunt - While hunting during the festival, players will randomly gain letters from monsters killed. Spell the word “SUMMER” and talk Carnival Manager Vivi to win a variety of prizes, from Skill Experience scrolls to Recovery Grains.
Bonus Exp - On festival weekends, from Friday to Sunday, players will gain 10% additional experience points from all monsters killed. Happy hunting!
