Bethesda Softworks has revealed some impressive numbers and facts about the launch of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, showing the major level of success that the game has seen in less than one week since release.
Bethesda has already shipped over 7 million units and is expected to glean more than 450 million dollars in sales from Skyrim alone. On PC, the game set a brand new record on Steam for most concurrent players worldwide with over 280,000 players logging in to play Skyrim within the first 24 hours.
Retailers worldwide have been placing large re-orders with Bethesda as the demand for Skyrim continues to exceed expectations. As far as the ever-important review scores, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has enjoyed over 50 perfect scores from the likes of GameSpy, G4TV, GamePro, Eurogamer, Joystiq, Destructoid, OXM and so many more!
