We're proud to announce the commencement of an exciting tournament series: Curse of the Gods, sponsored by the SMITE Wiki. This weekly SMITE tournament will pit team against team for awesome prizes and bragging rights. The first event starts tomorrow, Saturday the 23rd -- a single elimination bracket with a massive grand prize of $1,000! Weekly events thereafter will feature $250 grand prizes with points earned for a chance to play in the monthly $1,000 finals.

SMITE is a new online battleground between gods. Players can choose from several mythologies' worth of gods to play, join session-based arena combat, and use custom powers and team tactics against other player-controlled gods and non-player controlled minions.
