Am I really the only person who commented on this? Wow!!

Favorite character is by FAR Q. His humor and his powers just make him fantastic :P

I'm second! wooot! It has to be Montgomery Scott (nicknamed "Scotty") the Chief Engineer who could pull anything out of that engine. If only he would work on my CPU and GPU I'd be set!

Sorry it's gotta be Data from next generation. In one episode he could be quick thinking bad-ass not to be messed with and in the next funny as hell understanding humans as a small child would. Shame they couldn't hide Brent Spiners age though in the later films haha!

I am going to go with Pavel Chekov. First of all he had a cool accent. Andy who doesn't like people in outer space with cool accents? Secondly we all know that he had the dirt on Kirk and used it behind the scenes to hook up with Uhura. Third plain and simply he was the man. 'Nough said about that one.

I always loved Q because he was so snarky and flawed, but funny. In the old Star Trek, I loved Bones for his dry sense of humor, and groundedness in space.

    Would love a pass please!

My favorite startrek character has always been Quark from DS9. Its always entertaining to watch a recurring character who isn't such a goody-two-shoes.

I think my favorite episode was when the grand Negas goes through the worm hole and has his personality altered to be generous rather then greedy. Ludicrous new rules of acquisition and the usual Ferengies in search of profit and up to no good = awesome!

Oh, and the doctor from voyager. Love him

My favorite character would have to be Dr. McCoy. His humor could make anything funny. His catch phrases of "He's dead, Jim." and "I'm a doctor, not a ..." are some of the most memorable lines in the series.

Finnegan was my all time fave character from the episode Shore Leave. With all the episodes where Kirk was the man and wooing all the women and kickin all the men's butts. It was hilarious to see this guy laughing while he beat down Kirk. Nice to see that Kirk got picked on in "school" as well. :)

My favorite Star Trek character is definetly General Martok for one excellent reason; as soon as you see him in an episode you are sure to have a great show with some fighting in it!! I Also like the way he talks and his face full of scars.

My favorite character is Q from Next Generation. He was always struggling to understand humans and the interactions he had with Picard were great! Got to meet the actor in Chicago at ChicagoCon years ago. He's a great guy!

My favorite character is Captain Janeway, she was very strong, intelligent and managed to maintain order and discipline while still retaining femininity. :)

Captain Jean-Luc Picard, because he is a Frenchman with a British accent, he drinks tea, he gets the girl even though he's over 50 and bald, he eats Gak like it's candy, he stops Klingon warriors and Q with just a glance, his Enterprise is bigger and more powerful, he's a scholar, an archeologist, he faced down Romulans, Klingons, Cardassians, Q, and the Borg, and he did it all WHILE WEARING A RED SHIRT!

Captain Jean Luc Picard. He is my favorite character because of his personal character and honor. For a captain to sustain the honor of so many races, and have such a deep respect for the cultures of so many races spoke a lot about the man he was. He was not only a captain, but a diplomate, and role model to so many. Some personal references that come to mind are Wesley Crusher, and Ro Laren who cared more about the respect of Jean Luc Picard than the status they had in Star Fleet. He is a friend to his crew as well as their captain. To me his the one of the best characters of Star Trek, one that kept me intrigued with the lor of the show.
