New SWTOR Video on the Trooper Class!

SWTOR has released a video on the Trooper class! The video highlights some of the thought behind the design and processes that created this class, and how the class will be played. There's a great segment about motion capturing and how they used data obtained there to affect some of the actions and movements in game when using heavier weapons. The video also highlights some of the unique abilities and technology available only to the trooper!

SWTOR hasn't entered beta yet but is beginning to release more content and showing the game off a little more - hopefully we'll be able to play it soon!

Here's a look at the Trooper Highlight Video:

That motion capturing stuff is so cool. It's still new enough to really impact a game in a big way.

its new to the gameplay side of things. It will be interesting seeing it done in a Full scale MMO.
Its going to be interesting to see how this game really plays out. The PvE aspect of the game is going to be just awesome, leveling at least wont be a grind fest.
Of course im worried about class balancing, either they are going to make jedis seriously OP or totally gimp so other classes can take them on, which is fair enough if they are totally buff, but at the same time, it wouldnt be authentic for a Trooper to take a Jedi / Sith down.

I understand the news team here have a lot to check out but this was released on the SW:Tor site May 29th so you're a little late with this ;)
I can only recommend you keep an eye out for updates on http://www.swtor.com/ rather than youtube! :)

I never understood the reasoning of going "back in time" with Star Wars... I mean, if this is supposed to be 1000 years in the past, why does all this technology exist?

eh dont pay attention to the time rate.... besides, 1000 is not nearly long ago.

However it is possible that we once had the technology but then lost it over the course of a few million years. Atlantis for example.

There are also those large stones that were transported over sees that weighed quite a few tons each, and were propped up in an upright position. I dont know much about that, but scientists say that that would be impossible for people with rock hammers to do.
