Speaking this week with GamesIndustry.biz, EA's Frank Gibeau had a few exciting comments about Star Wars: The Old Republic that caught our attention.
In speaking about the large budget that EA is putting into The Old Republic, Gibeau said that they have to spend a large amount of money because the game is such a gigantic offering. Specifically, Gibeau revealed that each class in The Old Republic will have around 200 hours of gameplay just in terms of solo play time. That number doesn't include any sort of multiplayer nor does it include time spent crafting or on raids.
With six classes available in Star Wars: The Old Republic, we're looking at 1200 hours of gameplay for players interested in experiencing it all and going through the entire game as each class.

Gibeau also touched on the digital-exclusivity of The Old Republic for EA's Steam competitor, Origin. He said that EA is betting big on Star Wars: The Old Republic to help push interest in EA Origin just as Xbox may rely heavily on Halo or Sony may count on Uncharted. The Old Republic will be exclusive to Origin, just as those titles are exclusive to their respective consoles.
