BioWare's popular MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic was undoubtedly the most anticipated MMO launch of 2011 and industry analysts have been tracking the games progress through sales figures and the activity of its massive userbase. So how well is Star Wars: The Old Republic performing?
According to EA, the game has been a major success with the publisher citing some impressive facts and statistics as recounted in this post from late December. Games industry analysts are also chiming in and while Star Wars: The Old Republic hasn't quite had the fandom to rival Activision-Blizzard's powerhouse MMO World of Warcraft, that certainly doesn't mean the game doesn't have a huge following.
According to Baird Equity, BioWare is currently seeing around 350,000 concurrent players online spread across a multitude of servers; specifically, "EA has a total of 215 operational Star Wars servers, with 124 in the US and 91 in Europe." Additionally, reviews for the game have been very favorable, seeing an average review score of 88 out of 100 according to Metacritic.com.

If industry analysts says they have 350,000 concurrent players. And Bioware made a giant claim of having over 1 million players at launch. Does this mean they already lost over 50% of their player base?
*LOL* That's typical of EA and Bioware. Customer service for the game will suck too. I've been burned by both companies over the years. They have a pretty high bar to cross over if they want me to buy their games again.
Concurrent players = the number of people online at one time. The one million+ figure refers to the total number of active acounts. These statements aren't conflicting. Seeing as how the game hasn't even been out for a month, it's almost mathematically impossible for BioWare to have lost 650,000+ subscribers...unless you're suggesting that two thirds of the player base cancelled during their free month out of spite.
No, this is concurrent users, meaning the amount of players playing at one time. Not all players accross the globe will be on at the same time.
Your statement is idiotic.
Morgora - You should just quit gaming all together. Its better this way, trust me.
