The greatest thing about working in the tech industry is that everywhere you look -- no matter if it's a live streaming service like Justin.tv, a gaming review expert like IGN, an up-and-coming comment service provider like Disqus, a super cool photosharing service like Flickr, or what many consider the Twitter for businesses: Yammer (to name a few) -- we all share a few common goals:
- Advance technology every single day
- Have a lot of fun doing it
- Give back to our communities whenever we can
StartupCraftSF is where those common goals merge into what will be a day to remember. Justin.tv has graciously taken up organizing the first ever StarCraft II tournament for San Francisco Bay Area technology startups, and the best part is any proceeds from the event are being donated to Child's Play.
So I invite you to join us and celebrate this great event online. You'll be able to watch a live stream on the StartupCraft website, or on Justin.tv. The event kicks off at 11AM PDT and will run throughout the day with 2v2 Beginner, 2v2 Expert and 4v4 matches, as well as a few awesome guest speakers.
We're all very excited about this event, and hope you are too.
