Released today is a brand new pre-order trailer for TERA, which showcases the amazing sights, foes, and races you'll experience when you delve into the game's universe! More information has been released about the event progression up to the May Launch, detailed in the handy chart below:
Pre-orders will be open from today (February 2nd) as well, either digitally or through local retailers. In addition to automatic access to every beta session prior to launch, a range of other benefits will be provided upon pre-order:
- Access to head start - Access to the game five days before the launch on the 3rd of May 2012.
- CBT & OBT access – Access to closed & open beta tests of TERA in Europe
- Name reservation – Before the actual head start, players will be able to create a character and reserve their favorite character name.
- Special Items: These vary depending which retailer players chose to purchase from.
Incorporating a real-time battle system with a third person camera view into a fantasy MMO, TERA will have a lot to offer to players. Typical features such as quests, crafting, and PvP action will be available, but one of the main differences between TERA and other fantasy games is the battle system: Rather than tab-targeting a victim, players will manually target an enemy with cross-hairs and actively dodge enemy attacks!
