Yesterday we introduced The Secret World's new location, Blue Mountain. Today Funcom has released a brand new video with a glimpse of this foreboding place haunted by a terrifying past, where players will stand face to face with the rising darkness threatening to destroy the world.
The Secret World is an upcoming, modern-day MMORPG from Funcom (makers of Anarchy Online and Age of Conan). To be released in April 2012, the game blends elements of MMO gameplay with alternate reality gaming and social networking in an original setting with contemporary elements.
Imagine if every myth, conspiracy theory and urban legend was true. Imagine a world where you can become anything you want to be, without restrictions such as classes or levels. This is the premise for The Secret World, Funcom’s upcoming massively multiplayer online game set in the modern-day real world.
